“You have to be rich to own a pet,” says the client reaching into her designer clutch she’d pulled from her designer bag. This is a client who spends, by my calculations, a dollar a day for her dog’s meals, treats and supplements. Seriously, a dollar a day, fifty cents a meal?

Once again the FDA has issued a warning to not feed a raw food diet to your cat or dog. The foundation for their argument is the risk of pathogen contamination to you and your pet.
